If you are a representative of a partner, sponsor, venue, sporting club or association, government agency or contractor: your business contact details and role information.
Performer and touring talent information
For athletes, performers and talents: name, contact details, passport and visa details, and ad hoc health information (e.g. medical reports) required to facilitate travel, accommodation and visa arrangements.
How do we collect your personal information?
We collect your personal information when you interact with us, either directly or through trusted partners and services that support our operations. We collect your information:
Directly from you – for example, when you subscribe to TEG Sport news, register your interest in an event, contact us with an enquiry or participate in a promotion.
From other sources. This includes:
- Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) – companies part of the TEG, such as Ticketek, TEG Live or Ovation.
- Event Partners – being any third party involved in the operation, promotion or delivery of a TEG Sport event, including venues, event organisers, sporting clubs, associations, co-promoters, performers or performing act, funding bodies or sponsors.
- Service providers and strategic partners – who help us operate our business, such as:
- marketing and digital agencies;
- Research, analytics and development partners,
- data enrichment or verification partners, and
- publicly available databases.
Through analytics or combining datasets – in some cases, we may derive personal information by combining or analysing datasets. While individual datasets may not identify you, they may become identifiable when grouped or analysed together.

Why do we collect and handle your personal information?
We collect and handle your personal information to deliver a compelling, secure and personalised fan experience, to manage, deliver and promote live sporting events and related products and services and to run our business effectively. This may include:
- Managing your subscription and keeping you informed. We use your details to send you TEG Sport news, event announcements and special offers you have signed up to receive.
- Processing your event registration or ticket purchase. Where TEG Sport facilitates ticket purchases (through Ticketek or other channels), we may receive or use your personal information to process transactions or confirm event access.
- Processing your merchandise and other purchases. When you make a purchase with us, we process the payment and deliver the product (digitally or physically).
- Supporting refunds and exchanges. If you request a refund, exchange or replace a purchase, we collect information to verify your identity and process your request.

- Sending marketing communications. If you have opted in, we will send you promotional communications about future events, rewards and news from TEG Sport or trusted third parties. You can opt out at any time.
- Tailoring your experience. We use your activity and preferences to recommend events or offers and to improve how our platforms look and feel.
- Delivering online advertising. We may show you personalised ads and promotions across websites and social platforms using tools like data analytics, audience segmentation and matching.

- Managing touring performers and talent. We collect performer and talent information to organise and promote our productions, facilitate travel and accommodation arrangements, and (where applicable) assist with visa applications for entry into Australia and other countries.
- Managing professional relationships. We collect information to engage with sponsors, co-producers, venues, sporting clubs, service providers and other business contacts.
- Protecting against fraud and ensuring event safety. We monitor for suspicious activity and safeguard your data, event access and transactions.
- Managing business operations. We collect and use information to support daily business activities (including staff and contractor management) and to facilitate business changes such as mergers, restructures or sales.
- Meeting legal obligations. We handle your information to comply with applicable laws, respond to law enforcement or regulators and enforce our legal rights.
What if you don’t want to give us your personal information?
Where it is lawful and practicable to do so, we will give you the option of not providing personal information when you deal with us.
However, if you do not provide us with the personal information we request, this could impact the level of service we are able to provide to you. For example, we may not be able to contact you in the case of an event cancellation or venue change, we may not be able to properly respond to your enquiry or investigate your complaint or we may not be able to fully process your transaction.
For athletes, performers and talent, the provision of certain personal information (such as passport and visa details) may be a necessary condition of your engagement with us where it is required to facilitate travel, accommodation and visa arrangements.
How do we use your information for marketing and how can you opt out?
If you subscribe to receive promotional communications from us (including by signing up to our mailing list), we may use your personal information to send you news, offers and updates about our shows, experiences and the products and services of our event partners and the wider TEG family brands. Depending on your communication preferences, this may include email, SMS, in-app and push notifications and mail.
Please note that when you sign up to our mailing list, we may also share your email address with event partners and ticketing partners in connection with specific events. You will be informed of this at the time of sign-up.
You can unsubscribe from receiving marketing communications at any time by:
- Using the unsubscribe facility in any marketing email or SMS we send you; or

Please note that even if you unsubscribe from marketing messages, we may still send you important service-related communications, such as event cancellation notices or updates about changes to our terms and conditions.

Sometimes we extract information from our collected records to produce aggregated data that does not identify individuals. We use this aggregated data for research purposes and may share it with third parties.
Who might TEG Sport disclose my personal information to and why?
Like most businesses, we work with third parties to deliver great fan experiences. We may share personal information we hold about you with:
- Ticketek Entertainment Group. We may share your information with other TEG entities, their contractors (such as data management providers), and any TEG successors. TEG entities include Ticketek, TEG Live, Ovation and any entities that may in future become part of the TEG or in which TEG may have an interest. We may share your information for purposes including ensuring it is accurate, complete and up to date, producing anonymised and aggregated data for the benefit of other TEG entities and enabling us and other TEG entities to better understand and meet your needs and interests.
- Event Partners. We may share your information with Event Partners so they can manage the event and meet their operational and customer service responsibilities. This may include contacting you about event schedule changes, start times, safety measures or accessibility details. If you consent, Event Partners may also use your personal information to provide you with promotional material. You may change your preference to receive promotional communication at any time directly with the relevant Event Partner.
- Third parties. We may share your personal information with trusted third-party contractors and service providers who help us operate our business and deliver our events and related services. These third parties support us across a range of functions including operating our IT systems and infrastructure, fraud detection and prevention, marketing and digital media services, customer communications (e.g. email and SMS distribution), data cleaning and enrichment, demographic and behavioral analysis, identity verification, customer relationship management and analytics and product development. We also engage third parties who provide storage, hosting, printing, fulfilment and other operational support services necessary to run our business efficiently.
Otherwise, TEG Sport will only disclose your personal information

Does TEG Sport disclose personal information to overseas recipients?

Some of our events may welcome attendees under the age of 18. Where this is the case, those attendees may be required to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
