The Gunners Return to Dublin in August.
TEG Sport today officially announced that high-flying Arsenal F.C. will take on Spanish La Liga side Real Betis at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, at 7.30 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets will be available for fans who pre-register from 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 25 March. General on-sale will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, 27 March via Ticketmaster. Fans are strongly encouraged to register their interest here to put themselves at the head of the queue.
The fixture will see Arsenal return to the Aviva Stadium for the first time in eight years, following a memorable visit that saw them defeat London rivals Chelsea on penalties. This Irish homecoming is a massive opportunity for the club’s passionate Irish fanbase, providing an unmissable chance to see their heroes live.
The fixture represents the first ever meeting between the two sides and the first time that Real Betis, currently lying in fifth place in the La Liga table, has played in Dublin. Several of the Real Betis players will be familiar to Arsenal, including defender Héctor Bellerin who spent 11 years at the Emirates Stadium and winger Antony who scored against the club on his debut for rivals Manchester United.
Arsenal Chief Executive Officer, Richard Garlick, said: “We’re all excited to be coming back to Dublin in August. We have incredible support in the Republic of Ireland and we’re looking forward to playing a competitive pre-season match at the Aviva Stadium. Facing Real Betis will provide high-quality opposition and vital preparation ahead of the new season. It promises to be an exciting match and we’re really looking forward to connecting with our supporters in Dublin once again.”
Ramón Alarcón, CEO of Real Betis, highlighted the importance for the club of facing world-class opposition such as Arsenal. “Even though these are preseason matches, we are very excited about this type of fixture given the calibre of the opponent. We will come up against one giant of world football like Arsenal, in a great city like Dublin and at an excellent venue in the Aviva Stadium. It will be a high-level test to assess where we stand and a fantastic opportunity for Real Betis fans in the area to see the team’s early progress ahead of the new season.”
TEG Sport, (part of the Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG), a global ticketing, sport and entertainment company) is proud to present this fixture as part of its Dublin Games 2026, renewing its partnership with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and the Aviva Stadium.
